CORPORATE WORK
When clients or customers don’t pay, it affects your cash flow, your operations, and your ability to grow. Attorney Michael Goldstein provides strategic, legally sound collections representation for Massachusetts small business owners — from demand letters through litigation and judgment enforcement.
Services are available for clients in Massachusetts, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
COLLECTIONS FOR SMALL BUSINESS
Unpaid invoices and bad debts are a serious threat to small business health. Many business owners delay pursuing collections because they don’t know where to start, worry about the cost, or hope the debtor will eventually pay. In most cases, delay only makes recovery harder.
Attorney Goldstein takes a strategic approach to collections — evaluating the debtor’s ability to pay, the strength of your claim, and the most cost-effective path to recovery before recommending action.
Collections representation is available on a flat-fee or contingency basis depending on the nature and size of the claim. Attorney Goldstein will discuss fee arrangements during your initial consultation.

THE PROCESS
We review your documentation, the debtor’s situation, and the strength of your claim to recommend the right approach.
An attorney demand letter is sent. Many debtors pay or negotiate at this stage, avoiding litigation costs.
If the debtor does not respond, we file suit and pursue judgment through the Massachusetts court system.
Once a judgment is obtained, we pursue enforcement through bank levies, garnishments, and property liens.
